| There are a number of golf courses within
easy reach. The courses at Penina, Alto Golf, Boa Vista and
Palmares (Meia Praia) are all within about a 15 minute
drive, and the more spectacular and challenging course
at Parque da Floresta (Vale do Poco, Budens) is about
a 25 minute drive along the Sagres road. There are also two relatively new courses at Morgado do Reguengo off the N124 Portimao to Monchique road. |

| There are, in addition, several riding and other sporting
facilities within easy reach, including the Burgau Sports
Centre (tennis and squash) and microlight flying from
the somewhat grandly named Lagos Aerodrome. Also within a 20 minute drive is the magnificent new motor racing circuit, Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, where top international motor racing events are held throughout the year. |
